Hey!I am Janet.
I am a wedding photographer from Bruchsal near Karlsruhe, I use she/her pronouns, I enjoy being around people and I almost always have a camera with me.
Let us make your day unforgettable, in the most literal sense.
During the week, I work in IT. That gives me the freedom to follow my passion at weekends. I deliberately photograph no more than two or three weddings a month so I can keep loving what I do and look forward to every single one.
Every wedding is special to me, and you can tell. I laugh a lot, get involved and am there when you need me. I also want to get to know you personally beforehand and leave enough time afterwards to edit your photographs.
That is why I particularly love personal weddings with people who want to make their day truly their own. I celebrate with you like a good acquaintance who is lucky to be part of your wedding.

I am a lesbian myself and photograph couples who treat each other with openness and respect. If you are planning a queer wedding, you can read more on my page for queer couples about what matters to me when I photograph your day.
I live in Bruchsal near Karlsruhe. I also travel to the Black Forest, Freiburg, Stuttgart and Frankfurt for weddings, and enjoy working in Bavaria, Austria and Switzerland. We can plan and communicate in German or English.
How I work
You can tell that I love being there. I laugh a lot, talk with your guests and am there when you need me. At weddings, I quickly become part of the group. Some guests even hug me goodbye, which makes me happy every time.
When we take a group photograph, I gather people and show them where to stand. That is one less thing for you to manage, and you can get back to celebrating. During the ceremony or a personal moment, I keep my camera discreet and give you space.
During couple portraits, I help if you do not know what to do or where to put your hands. I give you small prompts that let you focus on each other. In between, I leave you time and see what happens.

I take my camera when I travel too. I especially enjoy photographing landscapes and animals, and these days I plan trips around favourite subjects. I am particularly drawn north, to Iceland, Canada and Svalbard. I have also travelled with my camera through Chile, Bolivia and the Amazon.
Free time
and hobbies
I like learning and trying new things alongside travel. I build and make a lot: I developed my photo booth myself, wrote its software, and its props come from my 3D printer. When the technology takes a break, I pick up a brush or a pen.
Sport is part of my life too. I played rugby for ten years. Now, depending on the season, you will find me snowboarding or kitesurfing. I like being outside and really using up my energy.
