Wedding photographer in Bruchsal

Bruchsal is my home. As a wedding photographer in Bruchsal, I photograph your day at the palace, among vineyards and orchard meadows, in the Kraichgau and across the Karlsruhe region.

The groom gives the laughing bride a piggyback ride as she holds the bouquet towards the camera.

Your photographer
lives around the corner

I live right here in Bruchsal, and I know the palace like the back of my hand. So if you are getting married in Bruchsal, I am already here.

Bruchsal also combines well with other places. You might get married at the palace or the registry office and celebrate at a venue nearby, or come here just for your couple portraits. For full-day coverage, travel within 100 kilometres of Karlsruhe and Bruchsal is included, from the Kraichgau via Karlsruhe and Ettlingen to Baden-Baden and the northern Black Forest.

And away from the palace, Bruchsal has plenty of beautiful corners and lots of nature.

Vines, meadows
and a sunken lane

Around Bruchsal you don’t have to travel far for beautiful couple portraits. At one wedding, we went up a hill in Bruchsal before the ceremony: between rows of vines, onto an orchard meadow and into a sunken lane where the trees meet overhead.

That variety is exactly what I love about the area. One place gives you very different pictures.

Getting married at
Bruchsal Palace

There is much more to Bruchsal Palace than its facade. Outside you have the fountain, the grand staircase, the side buildings, lovely tree-lined avenues, a rose garden and archways. The red sandstone and the pale walls make very different backdrops, sometimes in colour, sometimes quietly in black and white.

At one of the weddings on this page, the church ceremony took place right at the palace. After the I do, the two came out through the open church door, and outside the guests were waiting with long ribbons. Another couple came to the palace for their portraits before heading on to Karlsruhe to celebrate.

Inside
the palace

Inside, Bruchsal Palace is just as wonderful for photos. There is a stunning staircase and magnificent halls, and you are safe from the rain. If you like clean, luxurious pictures, it is really worth it.

You book the photo session inside the palace directly with the palace administration. All the details are on the page about wedding photos at Bruchsal Palace. I am not allowed to use these pictures on my website, which is why you only see photos taken outside here.

You can also get married at the palace: a civil ceremony in the Marble Hall, the Chamber Music Hall or the palace garden, a celebrant-led ceremony in the Chamber Music Hall and the palace garden.

Getting ready
at home

You can also get ready at home or at your parents’ place. That’s how it was at the palace wedding: the day began at the bride’s parents’ home in Bruchsal. While she was getting ready, I photographed the details, the rings, the bouquet and the perfume.

You don’t need a hotel room for this. A window with a little daylight is plenty.

The wedding rings lie on the lace of the wedding dress, next to an apricot ribbon and the bouquet of roses.

Celebrating
across the region

The celebration isn’t always where the ceremony is. One couple on this page celebrated at Watt’s in Ettlingen, the other in Karlsruhe. We plan the journeys in between together beforehand.
